Seminar on Macromedia Flash Remoting MX

International .NET Association Pakistan Chapter, IEEE NED Student Branch and NED.net User Group wants to invite you to a Free Seminar on Macromedia Flash Remoting MX by Mr. Adnan Farooq Hashmi on Saturday January 29, 2005 at 2 pm at CIS Lecture Theatre, NED University.

About The Topic :

Macromedia Flash Remoting MX provides the connection between Macromedia Flash and your web application server, making it fast and easy to create Rich Internet Applications. With its powerful yet simple programming model, you can easily integrate rich Macromedia Flash content with applications built using Macromedia ColdFusion MX, Microsoft .NET, Java, and SOAP-based web services. The result is complex client/server applications that more closely resemble desktop applications than traditional web pages. Gone is the click/wait/reload approach of HTML. Your web application uses Flash as the front end while Flash Remoting handles the communication behind the scenes with the application server. All the end user knows is that it's fast and flexible.

The potential uses for Flash Remoting are endless. This Seminar will help you understand this breakthrough technology and use it to build your own Rich Internet Applications (RIAs). Build applications that connect to a database, file system, or other server-side technologies. Or, use Flash Remoting to create:

ASP.NET Learning Resource List

There is a huge collection of the resources out there on the Internet to help you learn ASP.NET in Bill Evjen's Blog. He has plans on expanding this list considerably - especially in the ASP.NET Whitepaper section and the Tools section. Also, he had left comments turned on for this so people can feel free to add things that they deem as top-notch as well. Hope this helps.
